Vision
To honor the essence of creation through architecture that unites vision, material, and meaning.
Studio
Architecture made to measure — between imagination and creation.
SŌZŌ is an architecture studio based in Sofia. We design houses, residential and public buildings, interiors and bespoke furniture — and build the BIM, visualisation and AI workflows behind them. Every project is led by its authors from start to finish — with care, precision and a deep respect for detail.
The name
In Japanese, SŌZŌ is the sound of two words.
Architecture happens between imagination and creation. We are inspired by the Japanese pursuit of perfection, handcraft and attention to detail — every project is one of a kind, like a personal hanko seal.
Framework
Mission
To create bespoke architectural and design solutions that reflect individuality, harmony, and a deep respect for detail.
Design philosophy
Guided by Japanese ideals of perfection and authenticity, every project is crafted with care and detail.
Approach
Crafted for individuality
Every project begins with understanding the client’s story, environment, and aspirations. No two designs are ever the same — each is a response to context, need, and emotion. We create spaces that feel personal, intentional, and timeless.
Precision in creation
From concept to construction, every detail is considered. Our process values craftsmanship, material honesty, and harmony between function and form. We collaborate closely with artisans and makers to ensure authenticity in every outcome.
Driven by imagination
At the heart of SŌZŌ lies imagination and creation — the ideas that guide everything we do. With curiosity and purpose, we design spaces that feel alive, thoughtful, and lasting.

How we work
- 01
Listen
We begin with a conversation: how you live, how you work, what you love. Then the site and its light.
- 02
Sketch
Ideas are born by hand and in models. We look for one clear idea strong enough to carry the whole project.
- 03
Design
We develop every layer — structure, materials, light, furniture — as one whole and in full detail.
- 04
Build
We stay with the project through construction until the very last detail is in place.
Let's design something made to measure.
Tell us about your place — the first conversation comes with no commitment.
